PRIMEWORKS, VATAHA PRESENTED AT DECEMBER CALWORKS CONFERENCE

LA Works recently showcased PrimeWorks, our popular Internet-based solution for workforce development organizations, at the 2001 CalWORKS Partnerships Conference in Anaheim, California. Also featured was Vataha, developed by LA Works to deliver career path planning services on the Web. Conference attendees were able to ask questions of the LA Works technical staff, view live demonstrations of the products in action, and learn about the advantages of utilizing the Web in the workforce development environment.

"Exhibiting at the CalWORKS Partnerships Conference is always a success," said Sandy Meza, PrimeWorks Sales Manager. "The event provides a wealth of information and is well-attended by workforce development professionals." CalWORKS is the name given to the state of California's Welfare-to-Work plan, and conferences are held under the auspices of California's Department of Social Services and Health and Human Services Agency. The conference offers a unique opportunity for workforce professionals to gain new knowledge and learn from other CalWORKS practitioners and administrators.
