LA Works partnership to sponsor mature
workers seminar

Irwindale, CA – LA Works partnership is sponsoring the second annual seminar, “Older and Wiser: Good for Business,” to support the increasingly growing population of mature workers and in recognition of National Employ Older Workers Week. The event is scheduled to take place Tuesday, September 26th at the South Coast Air Quality Management District’s Diamond Bar headquarters.

LA Works partnership consists of Employment Development Department, Department of Rehabilitation, East San Gabriel Valley Occupational Program, Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District, and Los Angeles County. The days activities will included workshops on topics designed to help and protect mature workers against age discrimination, while providing job search assistance and useful information on services for mature workers.
