LA Works Takes on Community Beautification
Projects Irwindale, CA – As part of LA Works’ continued efforts to help beautify our communities, we are working in Partnership with the City of Covina on several community enhancement projects. The first of two projects included the commercial painting of their city yard buildings. This community enhancement project provided valuable hands-on-work experience for Workforce Investment Act (WIA) youth participants. Our involvement with the community is significant as it allows youth the opportunity to learn skills that will prepare them for the workforce and give back to the communities in which they reside. Watch for future project highlights on our website.
