LA Works Proudly Announces Our Newest Primeworks Customer...The Palmdale Worksource Center

LA Works has recently implemented its commercially available Case Management/Client Tracking System, PrimeWorks, to manage Workforce Investment Act Program activities at the Palmdale WorkSource Center in Palmdale, California.

IRWINDALE, CA – LA Works is proud to announce the successful implementation of their technology at the newly opened Palmdale WorkSource center in Palmdale, Ca. PrimeWorks, a client services tracking and case management software system developed by LA Works, is currently being used at the WorkSource center to support enrollment, program and services tracking, and performance information for all Workforce Investment Act programs.

The Palmdale one-stop center, known as the South Valley WorkSource Center, recently held its grand opening on November 14, 2005. The center's staff members coordinate services for employment opportunities, resources to fill those opportunities, and training knowledge. With the opening of this new center, Palmdale job seekers can now receive much needed services within close proximity to their homes, eliminating the need to commute to Lancaster or Santa Clarita. To maximize efficiency and bring the new center online with the latest in technology, the center selected PrimeWorks to automate the center and offer their services efficiently. PrimeWorks, a Web-based solution, allows South Valley staff to more accurately log and track case information and seamlessly share information with partners to improve the delivery of services.
