LA WORKS PROUDLY ANNOUNCES
OUR NEWEST PRIMEWORKS CUSTOMER... BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA WORKFORCE
INVESTMENT BOARD
LA Works has been selected to implement its commercially
available Case Management/Client Tracking System, PrimeWorks, to manage
Workforce Investment Act Program activities at the Berks County One-Stop
Center in Reading, Pennsylvania.
IRWINDALE, CA -The Berks County Workforce Investment Board (PA) has purchased
PrimeWorks, a client services tracking and case management software system
developed by LA Works, for the Workforce Investment Act Program. Berks
County will deploy PrimeWorks to support enrollment, program and services
tracking, and performance information for all Workforce Investment Act
programs.
Berks County is a One-Stop Workforce & Industry center; also known as
a one-stop center, with its offices in Reading, Pennsylvania. Implementation
work has begun with an anticipated in-use date of July 1, 2005. The center's
staff members coordinate services for employment opportunities, resources
to fill those opportunities, and training knowledge. With increased unemployment,
the center needs automation to offer these services efficiently. Once
implemented, PrimeWorks, a Web-based solution, will allow Berks County
staff to more accurately log and track case information and seamlessly
share information with partners to improve the delivery of services.
