Partners Grant Writing Workshop

Works is hosting a comprehensive one-day workshop with 3E Consulting
Services, a full-range development firm. Securing more than $60 million
in grant funds and working with more than 220 nonprofit and for profit
agencies, 3E holds an 85% success ratio. Known for his outstanding success
in training development executives, Wanyee Leonard will lead the day’s
seminar.
In this workshop, participants will learn an array of proposal
writing techniques, which will also place emphasis on the incorporation
of collaborations within the proposal.
Participants will gain access to and a greater understanding of:
- Facilitating
effective meetings with collaborative partners. This will include
outlines of meeting agendas, action steps and collaborative proposal
planning cycle.
- Creating Memorandum of Understandings, Letters
of Support documents that are meaningful, and how to incorporate these
commitments within the proposal.
- Planning a proposed budget with collaborative partners.
- Starting proposal, project and planning responsibilities.
- Gathering the essential community stakeholders needed to compose
competitively successful proposals and contract applications.
Lunch,
snacks and beverages will be provided and there is no cost to attend.
